Territory Sales Representative

We are seeking a skilled Territory Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.
About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who is passionate about sales and customer service. You will work closely with our district sales manager, regional sales manager, and other internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service. Your ability to build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive sales growth will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Fostering customer relationships through regular visits, phone calls, and emails.
- Managing deliveries to ensure timely and efficient transportation of products to customers.
- Collections accounts receivable and working with the credit department to resolve any issues.
- Leveraging resources to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate existing markets.
- Developing knowledge of market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products to provide value-added services to customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of sales experience preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- A competitive spirit and results-driven mentality, with a focus on achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
- Problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer relationships and resolve issues.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
