About This Role

This Regional Business Development Manager position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in your assigned region. Your ability to build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive sales growth will be essential to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in your assigned region.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and negotiating deals to drive sales growth.
  • Working closely with our district sales manager, regional sales manager, and other internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Providing market insights, competitor analysis, and product knowledge to support sales efforts.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • At least 1 year of sales experience preferably in the foodservice industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • A competitive spirit and results-driven mentality, with a focus on achieving sales targets and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer relationships and resolve issues.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $73,900 and $109,325. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
