Role Overview
The Automation Sales Group at Price Engineering is dedicated to providing essential electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components for the creation of new machinery and the support of existing maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) needs.

Market Engagement

Position Focus
This position emphasizes territory management within specified regions. The primary business areas include key locations within the territory.

Key Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will:

  • Develop and independently oversee your sales initiatives within the designated territory.
  • Collaborate with leadership to formulate a strategic sales plan aimed at identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Engage in comprehensive prospecting activities, including lead qualification, outreach, and sales presentations.
  • Work closely with customer service and technical support teams to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Utilize various tools and CRM systems to effectively manage your time and territory.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a relevant technical field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial or technical sales, with at least 2 years in automation systems and components.
  • Experience in application and troubleshooting of automation and pneumatic products and systems; knowledge of Fluid Power is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong planning and time management skills to effectively manage territory and sales goals.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A competitive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven track record of achieving sales objectives.
  • A valid driver’s license.
