Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative at BrandStar, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying local businesses to participate in regional television shows. These shows are produced by BrandStar and offer branding opportunities for local businesses. If chosen, the local business will be featured in a show segment aired in their local area.


This opportunity offers a competitive base pay, plus commission, quarterly and annual bonuses, a hybrid work environment, and a full benefit portfolio including health, dental, life, and 401k.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify local businesses to participate in regional television shows
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
  • Work directly with a Senior Producer to onboard new show participants
  • Share approved content ideas for show segments with decision-makers and gauge interest in participating

Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with business owners, executives, and marketing professionals
  • Possess energetic phone presence and ability to connect with others via phone
  • Prior experience in TV or radio ad sales a plus
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and phone dialer system
