Job Summary

The Membership Services Agent plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to May Center members, program registrants, and guests. As the first point of contact, they ensure a positive experience by greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and processing transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the May Center, welcoming visitors and responding to telephone and email inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Ensure accurate completion of member check-in procedures and process memberships, guest passes, and payment for personalized services.
  • Sell Pro Shop items and process membership-related forms.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role in a fitness center, spa, hotel, or hospital administration is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Friendly, engaging, and professional persona.
  • Proven track record in providing high levels of customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cash handling experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Zoom.
Work Environment and Requirements

Shifts may include weekends and evenings working up to a maximum of 15 hours a week onsite. Per Diem Compensation: $16.00/hour.
