About the Role

As a Membership Sales Consultant at Chelsea Piers, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for building a high-quality membership base through a strong sales effort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adopt a relationship-based sales philosophy focused on information discovery to drive sales growth.
  • Prospect, generate leads, and build referral business to expand our membership base.
  • Sell new memberships to individuals and groups, highlighting the benefits of our fitness programs and facilities.
  • Mastery of all member opportunities within the club, connecting new members to areas of interest to set them up for success and long-term membership.
  • Collaborate with a team of Sales Account Managers and a Membership Director to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
  • Establish a strong sales pipeline, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the overall goals of the business.
  • Manage select events to engage the membership base and generate interest in our club.
  • Serve as a visible and active goodwill ambassador with members and at select special events.
  • Deliver superior customer service with a focus on member retention.
Requirements:
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit with an outgoing, diligent, and affable disposition.
  • Superior customer service skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Passion for fitness with a team-first mentality.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work on nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • 1+ years of Membership Sales experience, preferably in a high-end fitness environment.
Compensation:

Base Salary: $40,700

Expected annual compensation: $75,000-$100,000
