Responsibilities
- Culinary Leadership: Provide visionary guidance and manage the signature restaurant's culinary research and development process from initial product conception to final implementation.
- Innovation: Develop novel product offerings tailored for each level of the club and participate in owner private events and special requests.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to elevate our culinary offerings.
- Menu Creation: Manage comprehensive menu creation, detailing dish specifications, ingredient lists, and portion sizes.
- Procurement Collaboration: Work with purchasing teams to identify and source necessary products.
- Quality Assurance: Introduce and uphold standards, processes, and tools to ensure consistent culinary excellence across the resort.
- Team Guidance: Foster the growth and proficiency of the culinary team by ensuring adherence to the company's high standards, processes, and systems.
- Feedback Management: Actively monitor feedback from members, guests, and internal team members, implementing necessary changes to guarantee maximum guest satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with Food & Beverage management to instate rigorous quality assurance measures, such as audits, culinary focus groups, tastings, and surveys.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Chef de Cuisine role.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in training and team-building initiatives.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing culinary departments across multiple outlets.
- A background in 4- or 5-star establishments with the knowledge and capability to implement high standards.
- A rich experience in successfully creating and launching new culinary concepts.
