State Street is in search of a Vice President to lead Cybersecurity Operations and Oversight. This pivotal role is designed to facilitate the management of regulatory engagements within Cybersecurity, ensuring the organization remains agile and well-equipped to handle complex regulatory inquiries.

Role Objective
The primary aim of this position is to assist the Managing Director of Cybersecurity Operations in navigating regulatory interactions across various Fusion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As the Vice President of Cybersecurity Operations, you will:

  • Provide expert advice on risk assessment, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures to safeguard the organization.
  • Collaborate with program leaders to manage intricate regulatory engagements, including comprehensive regulatory assessments and urgent requests.
  • Oversee project management tasks related to regulatory assessments, ensuring thorough review and preparation of regulatory documents prior to submission.
  • Facilitate stakeholder involvement and presentations, manage follow-up inquiries, and ensure all logistical requirements are met.
  • Contribute to management reports detailing regulatory feedback and significant findings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Represent the Risk organization in regulatory meetings, documenting discussions and action items for relevant parties.
  • Support high-priority regulatory projects throughout their lifecycle by diagnosing issues, analyzing root causes, crafting solutions, and securing stakeholder agreement for changes.
  • Engage effectively with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across various risk categories and business units to foster a cohesive approach to regulatory relations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree coupled with 5-8 years of relevant experience is required. Familiarity with fundamental concepts of Risk Management and cybersecurity is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP are mandatory, and prior experience in the banking sector is beneficial.
