Position Overview

Summary

Dispel is seeking a Vice President of Information Security to establish and oversee the monitoring protocols, operational procedures, security training initiatives, and incident response strategies for clients primarily engaged in maritime operations.

Dispel stands as the foremost US innovator and provider of remote access technologies utilized in subsea and arctic maritime environments. The distinctive communication hurdles associated with these systems and the necessary controls (operating under NIST standards) require a dedicated approach.

Work Environment

A passion for your work is essential. You will safeguard assets functioning at depths of up to six miles, navigate contested maritime areas, oversee drone vessels supporting these operations, manage sensor networks, and ensure the security of ports.

Experience in maritime settings is crucial; a solid understanding of the industry is necessary to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.

Base Salary: $200,000

Qualifications

  • Possession of a CISSP certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in maritime operations.
  • At least one year of direct involvement in maritime cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience leading teams managing FedRAMP-compliant products.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a security clearance if not already held.
