Customer Service Administrative Assistant

As an integral part of our team, you will engage in a variety of essential support functions, which may encompass: entering, processing, and disseminating various documents and records; gathering, compiling, organizing, and maintaining data; reconciling information, funds, or inventory; and providing exceptional customer service through public interaction.
This role operates within a clearly defined set of policies and procedures, under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities• Receive, prepare, verify, and process a diverse range of documents, instruments, records, bills, payments, and receipts.
• Input data to finalize routine correspondence, forms, reports, and documents.
• Research, locate, retrieve, and prepare various documents, records, and other assigned data.
• Address routine inquiries effectively and resolve basic customer service concerns.
• Collect, input, update, and reconcile data, funds, or inventory while maintaining organized filing/storage of documents and supplies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications• Graduation from an accredited high school or GED program.
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or 30 hours of college coursework, or a combination of both.
• Experience in a customer service setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in typing at least 30 words per minute or 60 keystrokes per minute, with familiarity in computer applications and standard word processing software.
• Candidates for all clerical, administrative, and/or secretarial roles will be required to complete and pass at least one skills assessment, determined by the relevant department based on operational needs.
• Testing may encompass one or more of the following: 10-key, Coding, Data entry, Filing, Grammar, Math, MS Excel, MS Word, Proof Reading, Spelling, Sorting, Timed Typing (3 minutes).
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions, organize and process work efficiently, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and the public.
Working Environment:
This position may involve working with individuals in challenging situations; therefore, a high tolerance for an emotionally demanding and stressful work environment is essential. The role may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
