Position Title: Customer Care Assistant
Location: Dallas, Texas
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour
Role Overview:
The Customer Care Assistant plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Customer Care Department. This position is essential for ensuring efficient office management, addressing customer inquiries, and supporting the department in achieving its performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee front desk operations and respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide backup support for customer service representatives, managing calls and client communications as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison for office vendors, ensuring service quality and addressing any issues that arise.
- Manage inventory and procurement of office supplies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Administer multiple centralized email accounts for the Customer Care Department.
- Assist in daily reporting and follow-up activities.
- Monitor and report on service levels related to new customer setups and support processes.
- Provide administrative assistance for ERP and CRM systems.
- Support order processing by coordinating communication between customers and internal teams from order entry through to billing.
- Proven experience in administrative and customer service roles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and order management processes.
- Understanding of supply ordering, vendor relations, and customer communication.
- Proficient in Outlook and possess basic Excel skills.
- Type of Employment: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
- Work Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM
- Hybrid Work Arrangement: Remote on designated days, in-office on others
