Role Overview
As the inaugural sales hire in New York, you will be instrumental in establishing a structured sales framework. Working closely with the executive team, you will oversee our client acquisition pipeline, create go-to-market strategies, and spearhead sales initiatives targeting payer organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client accounts from initial outreach to finalizing agreements.
- Demonstrate a consistent history of achieving or surpassing sales objectives, successfully closing deals with lengthy sales cycles, substantial annual contract values, and multiple decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
- Design and enhance sales operations, processes, and best practices, setting benchmarks for future sales personnel.
- Contribute to broader commercial strategies aimed at navigating the healthcare payer landscape.
- Act as a representative at industry conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate potential leads.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Located in or willing to relocate to New York, with a preference for in-person engagement (3 to 4 days per week).
- Minimum of 4 years of direct sales experience with payer organizations, showcasing a proven ability to exceed sales goals in complex, high-value transactions.
- Established relationships with payors or distribution partners, alongside technical expertise in sales tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare trends, particularly within payer markets, and the ability to discuss AI applications in healthcare.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
