Duties Summary:


The role involves performing complex professional accounting tasks related to fund management, system maintenance, and the development of accounting frameworks. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, offering interpretative and advisory services to management, and executing additional related tasks as necessary.


Qualification Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Training & Experience:
A combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited institution with a degree in accounting or a related discipline and:

three (3) years of professional accounting experience.

Qualifying Professional Accounting Experience:

Relevant experience involving the maintenance of general journals, ledger accounts, and associated financial records; preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and related financial reports.

This experience may be obtained through roles such as principal bookkeeper or other responsible positions requiring the preparation and/or analysis of financial statements and reports.


License Requirement:

At the time of appointment, the selected candidate may need to possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license if the position necessitates it.


Knowledge of:

Principles and practices of commercial accounting; preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports; public fiscal administration including budgeting and financial reporting; accounting systems and procedures; office practices and procedures; principles and practices of supervision.


Ability to:

Develop, adapt, and implement accounting methods, techniques, and procedures; plan, assign, and oversee the work of subordinates; prepare comprehensive and accurate reports; analyze data, identify errors, and rectify inconsistencies in accounting records; maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
