The Financial Planning and Analysis team is pivotal in ensuring effective capital allocation. This group concentrates on assessing investments that will yield long-term benefits for the organization.

The Financial Planning and Analysis team collaborates with stakeholders throughout the organization to assess business cases, create financial forecasts, and oversee the company's ongoing project portfolio.

As a Strategic Finance Partner, you will engage with client groups and interact with all management levels, including Senior and Executive Management, guiding the development of comprehensive financial budgets, forecasts, and analyses in line with the company's established planning protocols and policies.

You will also take a leading role in crafting and strategizing the financial aspects of key initiatives across all functional areas and management levels within the organization.

This position allows for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
Your Responsibilities:

Engage with all management levels to pinpoint critical business challenges, outline strategic options, build consensus, and propose action plans regarding core operations or strategic initiative planning.

Participate in strategic business planning and drive ongoing process enhancements in both core operations and throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain intricate models to capture the total financial implications of desired projects. Provide forecasting and analytical expertise to executive and program management.
Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion of high-quality financial projections and budgets.
Analyze financial outcomes and deliver insightful variance analysis to support informed business decisions. Assess financial and operational performance and offer recommendations for improvement.
Synthesize data and provide analyses for a wide range of issues across various disciplines and functional areas.
Review analyses conducted by other departments or external consultants, assessing the accuracy of assumptions and financial implications.
Identify and recommend actionable steps to senior management based on analytical findings.
Prepare and present findings to all management levels as necessary.
Seek opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies and take the lead in building consensus and implementing changes.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of relevant work experience. (Required)
Six (6) years of experience as a business or finance analyst. (Required)
CPA or MBA preferred.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar applications.
Experience in the health insurance sector.

Proven success in effectively consulting with all management levels, including executives, with the ability to influence without direct authority and to gain credibility and trust.

Demonstrated capability to conduct and interpret both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and exceptional analytical abilities.
Proven experience in facilitating group discussions. Excellent presentation skills.
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects successfully in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated project planning and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Extensive experience in working with complex systems to retrieve, analyze, and synthesize data.
Proficiency in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word, along with other relevant applications.
