The Napleton Corporate is in search of a dedicated Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a robust background in finance and exceptional leadership capabilities.

This role is pivotal in providing strategic direction and management to ensure the organization maintains effective financial controls, administrative procedures, and operational efficiency. As the Vice President of Finance, you will oversee all accounting functions and collaborate closely with the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the Owners. Your financial expertise will be crucial in supporting our growth initiatives, acquisitions, and overall business expansion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with ownership to define long-term cash and financing strategies.
  • Develop annual financial goals aligned with the company's growth strategy.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports and internal performance metrics.
  • Manage cash flow, reconcile bank accounts, and oversee the general ledger.
  • Standardize accounting practices across all business units.
  • Conduct performance analyses to identify areas for operational enhancement and cost reduction; provide strategic recommendations.
  • Act as the main financial liaison with legal advisors, external auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Review and negotiate contracts and procurement records.
  • Oversee tax obligations and stockholder distributions.
  • Supervise dealership Controllers to ensure effective management of financial processes.
  • Stay informed on financing options, market trends, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial role within a large automotive dealership group.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.
  • Experience in commercial real estate is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing acquisitions and divestitures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required; MBA is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication, relational, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a knack for interpreting complex financial data.
  • Strategic mindset with a history of driving financial performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards.
