We're seeking a talented leader to establish and maintain a center-led vendor performance management program with a focus on core health plan functions. As the Director, Enterprise Vendor Performance Management Specialist, you'll act as a strategic advisor to the business, monitoring and proactively supporting the vendor ecosystem and partnering with cross-functional teams to manage vendors effectively.
This role leads a team to manage Premera's center-led vendor management program, providing oversight and coordination of vendor management relationships across the company. You'll be responsible for implementing and leading key elements of the vendor management lifecycle, including performance management and improvement, and ensuring appropriate discipline and procedures are in place to support effective vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective enterprise-wide program for vendor performance management, including performance guarantees, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Partner with the vendor sourcing and contracting team to provide analysis and advice on strategic vendor selection and negotiations.
- Identify and facilitate opportunities for improved vendor performance and support the resolution of performance issues.
- Implement and maintain a centralized system to track, assess, and manage vendor performance.
- Lead and facilitate strategic vendor performance and risk reviews, and ensure mitigation plans are implemented.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of relevant work experience.
- Ten years of experience in vendor performance management, including five years of experience in overseeing significant offshore operations and/or vendors with significant offshore operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of contract and vendor management systems.
- Project Management Experience and Lean and/or Six Sigma Experience.
- Masters degree in business administration or a related area.
