Director, Enterprise Vendor Performance Management Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Enterprise Vendor Performance Management to join our team at Premera Blue Cross. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a center-led vendor performance management program with a focus on core health plan functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor performance management strategy to drive business value and improve vendor relationships.
  • Lead a team to manage Premera's center-led vendor management program and provide oversight and coordination of vendor management relationships across the company.
  • Implement and maintain a centralized system to track, assess, and manage vendor performance, including performance guarantees, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Partner closely with the vendor sourcing and contracting team to provide analysis and advice to enable strategic vendor selection and negotiations.
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for improved vendor performance and support the resolution of performance issues.
  • Implement governance structures and processes to maximize the value and operational success of new vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or four years of relevant work experience.
  • Ten years of experience in vendor performance management, including five years of experience in overseeing significant offshore operations and/or vendors with significant offshore operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of contract and vendor management systems.
  • Project Management Experience and Lean and/or Six Sigma Experience.
  • Master's degree in business administration or a related area.
