Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Support Clerk to join our team at Epworth Villa. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and teammates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a multi-line switchboard, using good phone etiquette to answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Monitor emergency call systems and contact 911 when necessary.
  • Assist with transitions inside and outside of our buildings.
  • Set up food service requests and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide a warm welcome and assistance to potential teammates, residents, and visitors.
  • Manage a small petty cash fund for resident use.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and copying.
Requirements
  • One year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
