As a Front Desk Agent at Extended Stay America - Oklahoma City - Northwest, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and ensuring a smooth stay experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Registering guests and handling check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Providing information about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
- Handling requests for information, mail, and messages in a timely and courteous manner.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel and grounds.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Maintain regular attendance and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions, and be familiar with all in-house groups and closed-out dates.
- Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate quoting scenarios.
- Be familiar with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules, as well as hospitality terminology.
- Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
- The ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel software systems.
- A willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
