Job Summary:

As a Front Desk Agent at Extended Stay America - Oklahoma City - Northwest, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and ensuring a smooth stay experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Registering guests and handling check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Providing information about hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
  • Handling requests for information, mail, and messages in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel and grounds.
Responsibilities:

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:

  • Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
  • Maintain regular attendance and comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies, standards, and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions, and be familiar with all in-house groups and closed-out dates.
  • Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate quoting scenarios.
  • Be familiar with all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and house rules, as well as hospitality terminology.
  • Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work well in stressful and high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel software systems.
  • A willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
