As a Front Desk Agent with Aimbridge Hospitality, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay experience for our valued guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Registering guests and handling check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Providing information and assistance to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintaining accurate records and performing administrative tasks as needed.
- Working collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be expected to:
- Approach all interactions with guests and colleagues in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality policies and standards at all times.
- Be aware of all hotel rates, packages, and special promotions, as well as any closed-out or restricted dates.
- Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including helping colleagues in other areas of the hotel and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
- Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- A positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
- The ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic arithmetic functions and ability to work with financial information.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn hotel-specific software.
