Sales Director

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to oversee our sales department and drive revenue growth for our hotel. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and the ability to negotiate and influence professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business
- Actively sell room nights through outside sales calls, telemarketing, and site tours
- Direct, train, and supervise the Sales and Catering Managers and the Sales Coordinator in all sales-related activities
- Meet or exceed the budgeted REVPAR for the hotel
- Prepare the hotel's annual marketing and sales plan based on the hotel's position and strengths within each market segment
- Forecast occupancy fluctuations based on changing market conditions and direct selling activities to maximize revenue
Requirements:
- Experience using Hotel Sales Force Automation (Delphi, STS, etc.) is a plus
- Must possess strong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence professionals
- Knowledge of the hotel's demand segments and sources of business for each
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
