Group/Division

The KLA Services team, based in Milpitas, CA, is dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of our products through a comprehensive suite of services. This includes proactive tool management, technical support, and a robust parts network to guarantee worldwide availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues that lack standard procedures, utilizing technical expertise and training.
  • Identify potential hazards in customer processes, such as chemical leaks, and recommend necessary actions to ensure safety.
  • Document customer support activities and recurring issues through detailed service reports.
  • Prepare customer quotes based on labor, travel, and parts required, exercising discretion in the process.
  • Assist and mentor junior field service engineers, providing guidance and support during installations and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers on equipment maintenance and support.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed, ensuring high-quality service across various regions.
  • Contribute to knowledge management initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Dependable and motivated team player willing to travel.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills, particularly with electromechanical equipment in cleanroom settings.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with KLA Metrology equipment is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree, Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of three years of relevant work experience.
