We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Engineer Team Lead to join our team at Edwards Vacuum. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of service engineers to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of our vacuum equipment.
Main Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of service engineers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
- Customer Support: Provide single-point-of-contact support to customers for all installation qualification-related issues.
- Procedure Development: Establish and audit local operating procedures to provide a training aid and reference source for Edwards and customer personnel.
- Project Management: Perform special projects at customer sites with supervision as needed from senior technical experts or project management.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of repairs and maintenance performed using local databases and develop and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment to ensure optimum performance.
- Failure Analysis: Assist with failure analysis by providing information on the mode of failure for each equipment failure.
- Technical Reporting: Submit information to Edwards' technical department to drive equipment improvements and write weekly/monthly reports on activities performed at customer sites based on customer and regional management requirements.
- Escalation Support: Work with Site Lead and Site Manager to ensure 7x24 escalation support for site teams.
- Attendance and Teamwork: Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance and work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Education: AS degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field (full military equivalent may substitute for AS with HR and supervisory approval) -OR- 4+ years' related technical experience (i.e., military, electromechanical devices, comms).
- Relevant Experience: 5 years related industry experience including the completion of relevant training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan for the current position and has demonstrated understanding of the product.
- Knowledge Areas/Skills: Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong proven leadership skills.
- Organization and Prioritization: Excellent organization, prioritizing, multi-tasking, and customer service skills.
