Job Title: Named Account Manager

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Named Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the St. Louis, MO area.

Job Summary

The Named Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing strategic guidance and implementing sales strategies to exceed sales targets. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and developing customized solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and expand our presence in the St. Louis, MO area.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop customized solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our systems engineers to design and position compelling solutions that drive down the total cost of ownership.
  • Work with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.
  • Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews with your prospects and customers.
  • Conduct demand generation activities, such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns, and technology forums.
  • Collaborate with our peers on marketing plans and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of technology sales experience, with a proven track record of direct selling into target accounts.
  • Relevant data center or networking industry background from a technology partner, competitor, channel partner, or end user.
  • Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Previous selling experience and technical acumen in one or more of the following areas: networking, SDN, NFV, switching, network automation, routing, data center, edge computing, network virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, or cloud computing.
