Role Overview:
The Production Team Supervisor is a pivotal leadership position focused on cultivating fully engaged and capable teams that achieve results aligned with operational performance objectives in a safe and efficient manner.

This role involves overseeing a 12-hour day shift from 6 am to 6:30 pm, with rotating days.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan shift activities and resources to maximize performance in alignment with production targets; effectively communicate shift performance metrics and outcomes to team members
• Foster a culture of excellence by engaging team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities, eliminate waste, and cultivate a sense of ownership and pride
• Coach and hold team members accountable for safety, performance, and quality standards
• Provide guidance, development, and performance feedback to enhance team capabilities and effectiveness
• Recruit, retain, and nurture talent to meet current and future operational needs; promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace
• Collaborate with leadership to stay informed of business strategies and requirements
• Clearly communicate and implement site directives to ensure alignment in work objectives
• Timely and efficiently document and complete administrative tasks
• Ensure work is performed according to established schedules
• Facilitate team processes, including problem-solving and issue resolution
• Lead or participate in investigations related to EHS & Quality, determining appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor and adjust controllable costs for the shift (e.g., overtime, operating supplies)
• Execute Leader Standard Work practices, including regular line walks
• Initiate recognition and awards for individuals and teams, celebrating achievements
• Organize and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate support for production demands
• Address personnel issues effectively during shifts
• Availability to cover shifts on weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as required; willingness to work overtime as necessary

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, military, or similar environment
• Previous experience in people leadership is preferred
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Operations
• Understanding of process and personal safety
• Familiarity with digitally enabled tools and systems
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
