About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team at DeepSeas. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the Higher Education vertical.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new leads and manage to generate sufficient pipeline growth, developing and qualifying opportunities to close deals.
  • Grow and develop channel partners to generate leads and prospect meetings, leveraging our sales model to drive business growth.
  • Achieve sales quota goals, driving and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual sales numbers.
  • Plan and participate in sales events and channel partner trainings to drive new opportunity pipeline within the territory.
  • Deliver online and face-to-face presentations highlighting DeepSeas capabilities, leveraging technical and corporate resources.
  • Consistently promote positivity, helpfulness, and resourcefulness with customers, aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce accurate, punctual reports, as required, and thoroughly share information with others.
  • Proficient in ensuring customer satisfaction, setting realistic expectations, owning, and solving customer challenges and obstacles.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field or equivalent applicable work experience.
  • Must have proven experience selling to and closing business within the Higher Education vertical.
  • Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in technology sales/account management, working with IT technology products or services, qualifying and scoping technical services, working with a sales channel partner, and understanding how to differentiate a technical solution in a highly competitive environment.
  • Heavy customer-facing experience with C-level Executives and technical leaders.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to discuss technical concepts with both technical and non-technical customers.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience with online communication tools such as WebEx, etc.
  • Experience in selling technical Managed Services is a definite plus.
  • Must be able to understand job duties and responsibilities, have the necessary skills/knowledge, and be willing and able to continue learning and growing within the field.
  • Must be skilled at managing a significant workload and obtaining positive results, taking on additional responsibility and managing priorities as needed.
  • Must be accurate, detailed, committed to high-quality standards, and pro-active in finding solutions to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Must promote mutual respect, ongoing communication, and a positive outlook with both internal team members and customers.
