Account Manager

Job Description:
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in delivering top-tier customer service by managing, supporting, and coordinating Clients' accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages designated book of business, overseeing marketing, claims, and administration processes
- Addresses Client inquiries, maintains records of communications, unresolved issues, and resolutions
- Assists in implementing new lines of coverage, including setting up accounts, collecting necessary documentation, and reviewing plan details with Clients and Carriers
- Ensures accuracy of exposure information provided by Clients, such as reviewing loss-run schedules and client stratification
- Obtains and reviews quotes (new and renewal) from carriers
- Audits quotes, binders, and endorsements, and requests changes as necessary
- Conducts audits and prepares audit analyses for Clients
- Updates policies and conducts policy checks for completeness
- Maintains and updates specifications, applications, and summary information to reflect changes throughout the year
- Monitors receipt of quotes from carriers post-submission and negotiation by senior staff
- Binds coverage as directed by the Unit Manager/Account Executive
- Communicates changes impacting insurance premiums or coverage to Clients
- Gathers information for new business opportunities
- Enters client data into the system with precision and completeness
- Prepares materials for Client presentations and meetings
- Sends compliance communications as required
- Collaborates with Producers and Accounting Department to determine action plans and assist in collection efforts or billing discrepancies
- Undertakes other job-related tasks as necessary
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of two years of Client services experience
- Thorough understanding and experience in brokerage/commercial insurance industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to attend industry training sessions
- Familiarity with industry trends and regulations
- Commitment to advancing knowledge in the insurance industry beyond basic requirements as necessary
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of client and company data
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility to travel and work remotely as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States
