CNC Finisher/Deburr Role Summary:

The CNC Finisher/Deburr position is primarily responsible for examining finished components to verify adherence to legal, organizational, or client specifications. This includes utilizing manual gauges, micrometers, and other instruments to ensure compliance with established quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to interpret 2-D drawings and GD&T, and a commitment to delivering high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deburring and finishing parts crafted from various materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, plastics, and more.
  • Cleaning and washing parts as necessary.
  • Preparing parts for shipment through appropriate packaging.
  • Applying manual ink banding on completed components.
  • Conducting light assembly tasks.
  • Performing general labor duties as required.
  • Assisting with shipping clerk responsibilities when needed.
  • Adhering to Shop Traveler and Drawing Instructions.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of parts.
  • Inspecting own work for quality assurance.
  • Observing all company quality and safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with team members to share information and resolve technical challenges.
  • Engaging in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Executing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience specifically in finishing or deburring.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Capable of managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.

Work Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Overtime as needed)
