CNC Finishing/Deburring Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of the CNC Finisher/Deburr Technician is to meticulously inspect finished components to ensure adherence to legal, organizational, and client specifications. This role involves utilizing manual gauges, micrometers, and various instruments to verify compliance with established quality and safety standards. Candidates should possess strong technical acumen, the ability to interpret 2-D drawings and GD&T, and a dedication to delivering high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform deburring and finishing tasks on components made from various materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, and plastics.
  • Execute washing procedures for parts.
  • Package finished components for distribution.
  • Apply manual ink banding on completed parts.
  • Engage in light assembly tasks.
  • Provide general labor support as required.
  • Assist with shipping clerk duties as necessary.
  • Adhere to Shop Traveler and Drawing Instructions.
  • Conduct cleaning of parts.
  • Inspect personal work for quality assurance.
  • Comply with all company quality and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to share information and resolve technical challenges.
  • Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred 1 year of experience specifically in finishing or deburring roles.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
