CNC Finisher/Deburr Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of the CNC Finisher/Deburr position involves inspecting completed products to ensure adherence to legal, organizational, or client specifications. This includes utilizing manual gauges, micrometers, and other instruments to confirm compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, the ability to interpret 2-D drawings and GD&T, and a dedication to producing high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deburring and finishing on components made from various materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, and plastics.
- Execute cleaning processes for parts.
- Package finished components for distribution.
- Apply manual ink banding on completed parts.
- Conduct light assembly tasks.
- Assist with general labor as required.
- Handle some shipping-related duties.
- Adhere to Shop Traveler and Drawing Instructions.
- Ensure cleanliness of parts.
- Inspect personal work for quality assurance.
- Comply with all company quality and safety protocols.
- Engage in communication and collaboration with team members to share information and resolve technical challenges.
- Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred 1 year of experience specifically in finishing or deburring.
- Strong work ethic with meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
- Able to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Work Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Overtime as required)
