Order Service Representative

Riviana Foods is seeking a skilled Order Service Representative to play a critical role in ensuring seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify inbound orders against established parameters, including weight, pricing, promotions, and lead-time, and provide recaps to management and customers.
  • Communicate pricing and promotion discrepancies to brokers and customers, and resolve issues prior to shipment.
  • Create outbound deliveries for EDI transmission to forward warehouses.
  • Review billing due lists for pricing and brokerage accuracy, and monitor on-time shipment of pending deliveries.
  • Advise the Operations Planning team of upcoming promotion exception volumes and assist in resolving delivery issues.
  • Work with the Operations Planning team to resolve potential out-of-stock situations and communicate product availability issues to Trade Marketing, brokers, and customers.
  • Assist other Order Service personnel during peak sales periods and submit new customer master record requests and revisions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Data Entry, Customer Service Experience, and/or Supply Chain experience preferred.
  • SAP experience or training preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly learn and adapt to changes.
