Job Summary

As a key member of the Front Office team at Marriott International Inc, the Assistant Front Office Manager - Operations will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and guest services functions. Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Front Desk Operations
    • Supervise and manage front desk staff to ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
    • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve front desk operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Services and Front Desk Management
    • Develop and implement effective guest services strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including feedback and complaints.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of guest services.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and motivate front desk staff to achieve high levels of performance and guest satisfaction.
    • Provide coaching and training to front desk staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Develop and implement effective performance management and development plans for front desk staff.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage front desk budgets and expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve revenue.
    • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement financial plans and budgets.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest services role preferred.
      • 2-year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
    • Skills and Qualifications
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
      • Strong leadership and management skills.
      • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
