Position Summary:

The Human Resource Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing various HR functions at InterConnect Wiring. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities including benefits administration, compliance with employment laws, and talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including evaluating insurance providers and organizing open enrollment sessions.
  • HR Operations: Supervise the review of HR invoices and ensure timely processing with the Accounting department.
  • Employee Support: Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, and maintain the company’s Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, including interviewing and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Training and Development: Attend seminars to enhance HR skills and keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, including coordinating 90-day and annual evaluations.
  • Miscellaneous Duties: Process payroll, manage employee records, and handle complaints and suggestions to foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
  • Certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
