Position Overview
The Human Resources Assistant Specialist is integral to the HR Services team, focusing on the transactional management of all Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COEs), particularly in Labor & Employee Relations (LER).

Key Responsibilities
This role involves:

  • Administering operational aspects of Collective Bargaining Agreements for designated client groups.
  • Executing wage administration tasks, including mass wage increases and pay corrections.
  • Managing people movement processes such as shift changes and promotions.
  • Conducting general administrative duties, including report generation, audits, and recording grievances.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail in processing high-volume transactions with minimal errors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and commitment to continuous process improvement.
  • Experience in virtual customer service environments.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and interpretation effectively.
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, planning, and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Human Resources or Labor Relations.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in virtual settings.
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools such as Peoplesoft or SAP Success Factors.
  • Knowledge of operations within a large-scale Union environment.
  • Capability to maintain accuracy amidst ongoing changes in work processes.

Skills Required:

  • Prior experience with Represented Labor contracts (Unions).
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and basic formulas.
  • Strong attention to detail in data entry and manual transaction execution.
  • Experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
