Job Overview

New England Federal Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Business Systems Analyst with a focus on lending systems. This position is essential for understanding organizational requirements, evaluating the effects of modifications, and documenting processes to enhance operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to users and vendors in troubleshooting application issues and fulfilling work requests. Contribute to the development of software workflows, custom forms, SQL queries, and application controls.
  • Conduct testing and debugging of new enhancements or system updates from software vendors, ensuring proper functionality before production implementation. Perform comprehensive testing, including end-user evaluations, for modified and new systems.
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and documenting processes and applications. Ensure procedures are up-to-date and recommend improvements to management. Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning and testing efforts.
  • Engage with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to gather business requirements and system objectives, while identifying and resolving issues related to business systems. Collaborate with the Technology department for analysis and testing of new system enhancements.
  • Support the development of project plans and assist management in tracking and reporting on various customer service initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-training with team members for backup purposes and attend necessary training sessions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A degree in a related field.
  • Experience in lending or financial services is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with credit union regulations is preferred.
  • Experience with systems such as Fiserv DNA, Fiserv Loan Director, Finastra Mortgagebot, Finastra LaserPro & CreditQuest, CUDL, and CUNexus is desirable.
