About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planning Analyst to join our team at Generac Power Systems. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for executing the corporate demand planning process through modeling, analysis, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely monthly statistical demand forecast reports for DR Power product lines by Sales office, ensuring the right quantities of the right products are produced, supply is effectively allocated, and financial and operating plans are accurately built.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to gather input and ensure alignment on demand forecasts.
  • Design, develop, and implement a best practice global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with key external business partners.
  • Support the process to integrate new, externally manufactured products into the S&OP process.
  • Generate reports and presentations to communicate demand forecasts, key insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Support strategic business planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in demand planning, market analysis, forecasting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and implementing demand planning processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools and demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, or John Galt Atlas Planning).
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent and continuous computer-based work, requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required.
