Job SummaryWe are seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as the primary contact and developing new business through needs-based selling techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Client Contact and Joint Business Calls: Complete outbound phone calls and in-person calls with assigned relationship clients and new clients, participating in joint business calls with product specialists.
- Sales Results: Develop loan business with new and established clients, working closely with the Commercial Portfolio Manager and Small Business Lending Unit to negotiate and structure loan transactions.
- Portfolio Growth: Partner with the Commercial Portfolio Manager and Small Business Lending Unit to grow the loan portfolio, increasing interest income for the company.
- Client Service and Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of professionalism and courtesy with clients, responding to calls and messages promptly and resolving any difficulties or complaints.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending, with a broad professional level of knowledge and expertise in credit and lending principles. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients to explain products and interpret policy.
CompensationAt Sandy Spring Bank, compensation is one part of our total rewards package. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Full-time and part-time positions may be eligible to participate in department or company-wide incentive plans.
