About the JobWe are currently hiring for a Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial clients and will act as the primary contact for assigned clients. The role requires developing new business for the company by expanding client relationships through needs-based selling techniques and developing relationships with new or potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Contact and Joint Business Calls: Responsible for completing outbound phone calls and in-person calls with assigned relationship clients and new clients.
- Sales Results: New Loan Production: Responsible for developing loan business with new and established clients.
- Sales Results: Fee Income/Deposit Production/Activity Revenue: Meets expectations in generating non-interest income for the company through sale of fee-based products.
- Sales Result: Portfolio Growth: Partners with Commercial Portfolio Manager and Small Business Lending Unit to be mindful of loan delinquencies and/or future payoffs.
- Client Service and Satisfaction: Maintains high level of professionalism and courtesy with clients at all times.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a commercial lending environment.
- Thorough familiarity with related laws and regulations surrounding commercial banking relationships.
- Demonstrated sales success in business development.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to utilize standard PC-based software to prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
At Sandy Spring Bank, compensation is one part of our total rewards package. Compensation within the range will depend on your skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Additionally, full-time and part-time positions may be eligible to participate in department or company-wide incentive plans.
Salary Range: USD $150,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.
