About The Role

As a Customer Engagement Specialist at The Peach Truck, you will be essential in delivering outstanding service and nurturing a welcoming atmosphere for our clientele. Your role will involve various facets of customer interaction, addressing concerns, and fostering a customer-centric culture.

Key Responsibilities

Specific Duties Include:

  • Setting up operational locations, which includes arranging tables, tents, and other necessary equipment (potentially exceeding 40lbs).
  • Exemplifying a service-oriented culture that emphasizes the customer experience, adhering to The Peach Truck service standards.
  • Creating an inviting atmosphere and surpassing customer service expectations by minimizing wait times and engaging positively with customers.
  • Acquiring knowledge about our products, particularly peaches, and effectively communicating this to customers.
  • Promoting product offerings to enhance the shopping experience through informed customer interactions.
  • Addressing any negative customer experiences promptly, de-escalating situations, and collaborating with the team to resolve issues effectively.
  • Expressing genuine gratitude to customers and ensuring they feel valued for choosing The Peach Truck.
  • Proactively managing customer concerns to restore a positive experience.
  • Assisting with peach bagging during quieter periods while remaining available for customer inquiries.
  • Adhering to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all.
  • Maintaining a flexible schedule that aligns with customer and business requirements.
  • Performing additional duties as needed based on business demands.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in retail is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to safely lift boxes weighing over 40 pounds repeatedly.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Exhibiting a friendly and helpful demeanor with a strong work ethic, adaptable to changing situations.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility, resourcefulness, and attention to detail.
  • Access to a personal smartphone and adaptability to current technological needs.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions without direct supervision.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, with consistent attendance.
