HR Operations Specialist

The Human Resources Generalist plays a pivotal role in the effective management of the Human Resources Department under the guidance of the Senior Director of Human Resources. This position encompasses a variety of essential functions aimed at supporting the organization's workforce and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role will be responsible for:
- Benefits and Leave Management: Overseeing the administration of employee benefits and leave programs, including claims processing, leave tracking, and communication with benefits providers.
- Performance Evaluation Support: Assisting in the administration and review of annual performance assessments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Employee Relations: Participating in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations to maintain a fair and compliant workplace.
- Training and Development: Leading and facilitating training initiatives based on organizational needs, ensuring employees are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, and regularly reviewing policies to maintain compliance.
- Data Management: Maintaining the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Learning Management System (LMS), compiling reports, and applying analytical skills to interpret data trends.
- Special Projects: Supporting senior management with various HR-related projects as needed.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, typically Monday through Friday. Flexibility in scheduling may be available, with occasional requirements for evening or weekend work.
Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation for this role is set at $28.50 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits for full-time employees include:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of HR experience; or
- An Associate's degree in a related field with at least 5 years of HR experience; or
- 7+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
Additionally, candidates should have strong communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a thorough understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
Physical and Work ConditionsEmployees may encounter typical office conditions, including moderate noise levels and standard office equipment. The role may require occasional travel within the local area.
