Job Title: Blood Collection Specialist

Job Location: Spokane, WA

Job Duration: 06 Months (Possibility of extension)

Pay Range: $18 - $22/hr. on W2

Shift time : Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 2 pm

Key Responsibilities:

· The Blood Collection Specialist serves as the primary representative of the organization to patients, ensuring a welcoming environment for individuals seeking health services or guidance on critical health decisions.

· This role involves expertly drawing blood samples from patients and preparing these specimens for laboratory analysis while adhering to established protocols and procedures.

· The Specialist engages directly with patients, fostering an atmosphere of trust and clarity while explaining the procedures and collecting blood samples with precision and care.

· Demonstrating leadership qualities, the Specialist emphasizes process excellence and maintains confidentiality and accuracy regarding patient information.

· Under the supervision of the area manager, the Specialist is responsible for executing daily tasks accurately and punctually, ensuring a safe and professional workspace.

· The role requires proficiency in both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following established guidelines.

· Maintaining accurate records and documentation is essential.

· The Specialist is expected to embody organizational values and promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the community.

Qualifications:

· Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a dynamic environment.

· Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

· Exceptional phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric populations.

· *Flexibility and availability to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.*
