Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of expertise in project planning and integrated master scheduling within the intelligence sector.
  • Proficient in MS Project tools and other scheduling analysis software.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management principles and reporting.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Experience in integrating and analyzing schedules from various contractors.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage schedule risks and critical path assessments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for project requirements.

This role involves proactive coordination of engineering and software development schedules, ensuring that all program milestones and deliverables are met efficiently. As a Program Scheduler Lead, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for programs requiring Earned Value Management (EVM). You will identify and address gaps in project plans and implement improvements to scheduling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Deployment:

  • Develop and maintain the program IMS, ensuring compliance with EVM requirements.
  • Analyze critical paths and communicate schedules to stakeholders.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Agile Software Engineering to propose enhancements.
  • Assess the impact of schedule revisions on program performance.

Management:

  • Understand project sequences and resolve conflicts across teams.
  • Conduct weekly schedule reviews with project teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Control schedule baselines and revisions to meet contractual obligations.

Monitoring:

  • Identify discrepancies in project and software development plans.
  • Perform schedule risk analyses to gauge program criticality.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure schedules reflect actual progress.

Improvement:

  • Drive scheduling process enhancements and consistency across projects.
  • Develop tools and processes to identify potential scheduling constraints.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with schedule performance reporting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certifications are highly desirable.
  • Training in Critical Path Analysis methodology.
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple program schedules.
