Location Requirement:
This role is intended for candidates based in Central / Western OH.

The Client Engagement Coordinator (CEC) Level II plays a vital role in supporting educators who utilize and are interested in Curriculum Associates solutions. The CEC collaborates closely with the local sales team to engage in prospecting efforts, including site visits, outreach campaigns, and serving as an initial point of contact for potential clients. A significant aspect of this role is dedicated to assisting educators in effectively implementing our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with all service team members.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with educators in strategic initiatives to ensure successful implementation, guided by the local sales team.
  • Identify and reach out to new schools and districts to introduce our offerings, understanding their unique needs and recommending suitable products.
  • Conduct both virtual and in-person demonstrations of our products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our offerings, the challenges educators face, and current educational trends.
  • Manage and respond promptly to all internal and external communications.
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in software applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS365).
  • Strong knowledge of State Standards for Grades K-8, including content and practice standards, as well as contemporary pedagogical best practices.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
  • Ability to present and engage effectively with groups of 20-35 participants.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying informed about educational trends, policies, and research.
  • Results-driven with a focus on completing assignments and achieving goals.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and capability to follow complex instructions.
  • Strong decision-making skills, accountability, and ownership of tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or education (or a combination thereof).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a teaching credential.
  • Prior experience as a classroom teacher, in education sales, customer support, or training.
Travel Requirements:
5-10% overnight travel may be necessary, with daily driving to support the territory 4-5 days per week.

Working Environment:
Must be capable of lifting boxes weighing approximately 30 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $26/hr-$39/hr, reflecting various factors considered in compensation decisions. Actual pay will vary based on experience and relevant skills. Curriculum Associates ensures compliance with applicable state and local wage laws.
Benefits include eligibility for medical coverage after an initial waiting period for employees averaging at least 30 hours per week, twelve paid holidays for those working more than 20 hours per week, and accrued sick time for all temporary and per-diem employees.
