Job Title: Sales and Events Manager

Location: San Francisco

Salary: 85k - 100k + commission. This role provides a base salary complemented by a commission structure based on event sales.

Role Overview:

The Sales and Events Manager will be instrumental in enhancing revenue through event-driven sales both within and outside the restaurant. This position is dynamic and hands-on, presenting excellent rewards for the right candidate.

The ideal applicant will possess a robust background in sales and event management, showcasing creativity in problem-solving. A people-first approach is essential, prioritizing both guests and team members. We seek a natural leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who remains composed under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to boost event bookings and meet quarterly sales objectives.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all events, ensuring flawless coordination and outstanding service.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their requirements and aspirations, transforming concepts into reality.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or special requests to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking avenues for enhancement.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests, vendors, and partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in event management or similar roles.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality sector with an emphasis on events.
  • Self-driven individual eager to excel and progress within the organization.
  • Exhibits high levels of adaptability and commitment to fulfilling event requirements.
  • Possesses a lively, enthusiastic, and confident demeanor.
  • Exceptional supervisory and management capabilities specific to event coordination.
  • Familiarity with event management software, preferably Tripleseat.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move swiftly, stand for prolonged periods, and bend as required.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of items weighing up to 15 lbs.
