Asbestos and Lead Abatement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to join our team at PBS Engineering and Environmental LLC. As an IH Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing industrial hygiene projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing expert guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee industrial hygiene projects, including hazardous materials building surveys, abatement designs, construction oversight, IAQ investigations, and exposure assessments.
- Represent PBS to existing and potential clients, maintaining positive client relationships, and communicating regularly with PBS IH leadership.
- Ensure the delivery of quality, attentive, and timely service to clients.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing proposals, reviewing and negotiating project contracts, and tracking project budgets.
- Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential project risks, and develop strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in industrial hygiene, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial hygiene or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, health and safety, or a related field.
- AHERA Asbestos certification.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- A valid driver's license.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER and Lead Paint certification.
