Team Overview

The Central Finance Planning and Analysis (CFP&A) Team is focused on enhancing impact through collaboration and responsible management of resources and operating expenses across the foundation. CFP&A provides essential financial planning and analysis support to the Operations Divisions and oversees the management of the organization’s operational costs. By delivering insightful financial evaluations and cultivating strong partnerships, CFP&A is integral to driving financial efficiency and supporting strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities

As a Lead Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will be pivotal in connecting data analysis with financial modeling. This role is crucial for facilitating ambitious growth strategies by ensuring the integrity and consistency of data sources, and by creating comprehensive reports, models, and forecasts tailored for executive audiences. Your proficiency in financial analysis, strategic planning, and data management will be essential in driving the vision and changes necessary for sustainable success.

Key Duties

  • Collaboration and Solution Development: Work closely with stakeholders to understand challenges and document requirements. Act as the representative for users to technical teams in developing reporting solutions.
  • Data Integrity and Consistency: Investigate and ensure the accuracy of data sources across the organization. Identify and rectify issues impacting financial models and decision-making.
  • Financial Instrumentation Development: Create and maintain a financial knowledge base, including reports and dashboards, to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Evaluate and optimize financial forecasts, conduct analyses to support staffing decisions, and develop goals for operational spending.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or a comparable role.
  • Expertise in developing data visualization tools and delivering high-level content using platforms like Power BI or PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel, including proficiency in pivot tables and financial modeling.
  • Experience with EPM platforms is preferred.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Capability to identify connections in data and articulate them effectively.
  • Experience working collaboratively in an agile environment.
