Industrial Hygienist Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Hygienist to join our team at Atlas. As an Industrial Hygienist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients by managing industrial hygiene projects, supervising field staff, and providing quality assurance and control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage industrial hygiene projects, including asbestos/lead projects, microbial/mold assessment, indoor air quality assessment, and industrial hygiene projects.
- Supervise and mentor field staff to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide quality assurance and control during the preparation of technical proposals and reports.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Act as a liaison and advocate for clients with environmental regulatory agencies.
- Implement Atlas's health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in industrial hygiene, occupational health and safety, public health, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, with 3+ years of direct responsibility managing projects, supervising field staff, and providing QA/QC of deliverables.
- Strong leadership and client management skills.
- Excellent technical writing, oral communication, presentation, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organization and project objectives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- AHERA Asbestos certifications required.
- Washington Lead Inspector/Assessor certification, a plus.
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification.
