We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to join our team at PBS Engineering and Environmental LLC. As an IH Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing industrial hygiene projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee industrial hygiene projects, including hazardous materials building surveys, abatement designs, construction oversight, IAQ investigations, and exposure assessments.
- Represent PBS to existing and potential clients, maintaining positive client relationships, and communicating regularly with PBS IH leadership.
- Ensure the delivery of quality, attentive, and timely service to clients.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing proposals, reviewing and negotiating project contracts, and tracking project budgets.
- Perform hazardous material building surveys, abatement designs, and project management and oversight for asbestos and lead abatement projects.
- Prepare reports and ensure all written documents receive internal third-party review and QA/QC of deliverables.
- Continuously gain knowledge of asbestos, lead, PCBS, mercury, IAQ, and testing and regulatory requirements.
- Attend association meetings, tradeshows, conferences, and work with supervisor to make PBS more visible within the industry.
- 5+ years of Industrial Hygiene or related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Health and Safety, or a related field.
- AHERA Asbestos certification.
- Able to function in a collaborative team environment, while also able to operate independently.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and strong technical writing skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to manage multiple projects.
- A valid driver's license.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER and Lead Paint certification.
