POSITION SUMMARY:


The Client Engagement Specialist is responsible for a variety of Customer Service functions, including warmly welcoming and acknowledging all clients in a timely and friendly manner, handling products with care, and providing information and guidance to customers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensures all firearms brought into the establishment are secured with trigger locks.
Manages the check-in process for all Vendor representatives, completing necessary visitor log details and controlling visitor badges.

Fosters a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and guarantees a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all clients.

Welcomes all clients as they enter the store in a friendly and engaging manner.
Processes merchandise returns for customers; completes refund/exchange documentation.
Organizes returns by category and returns items to their appropriate locations.
Sells relevant Hunting and Fishing Licenses.
Administers all incentive and rewards programs.
Maintains product knowledge.
Stays informed about advertised promotions.
Keeps the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
Adheres to all Company Policies and Procedures.
Delivers a remarkable experience for every client by assisting them in making purchasing decisions through: identifying and assessing clients' needs
making product suggestions based on this assessment
promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and provide change to clients
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with clients and other associates
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, and clients
Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constantly stand and/or walk during shifts
Constantly communicate with others to exchange information
Constantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
Occasionally work in varying temperature conditions
Occasionally work in noisy environments
Light work that includes constantly lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds, occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT :
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and creativity. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve issues. Occasionally requires independent judgment to complete work assignments. Frequently makes recommendations regarding work procedures, policies, and practices.
