We are looking for a committed Client Support Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. Our customer support division serves as the bridge between our clients and distributor networks nationwide, operating in a collaborative, dynamic, and service-focused environment.

Cortec Corporation is dedicated to delivering top-tier corrosion solutions for various industries around the world. As the leading provider of innovative and environmentally friendly VpCI and MCI corrosion control technologies, Cortec aims to offer cost-effective and user-friendly integrated solutions for corrosion challenges in sectors such as packaging, metalworking, construction, electronics, oil and gas, among others.

The primary objective of this role is to engage with clients by managing accounts, processing orders, and addressing product-related inquiries, thereby ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and fostering effective, collaborative relationships with other departments within the company, including shipping, production, quality assurance, sales, and accounting.

Minimum Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer relations or service within a technical or scientific environment is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Benefits are available after a designated period of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with detailed information regarding products, services, and order-related inquiries.
  • Resolve issues by performing tasks such as processing returns, exchanges, and issuing credit memos with appropriate approvals while adhering to established procedures.
  • Process incoming purchase orders and related items for assigned accounts.
  • Refer unresolved client complaints to the appropriate departments for further resolution.
  • Offer pricing quotations for stock, made-to-order, and custom products.
  • Generate sales leads for sales representatives and/or distributors.
  • Manage phone calls and oversee the email inbox.
  • Maintain records of client interactions, including details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, along with actions taken.
  • Enhance and uphold quality standards by implementing corrective and preventative measures related to job responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
